Solution ;)

A solution is a set of numbers that substitute for (x,y) but make the equation true. For example in y=-5x+10 you could plug in (-2,0) and If you were to graph this equation the numbers you plug in are the coordinates to make the line.
system of equations is an (x,y)that make all the equations true.
If you were to have two equations and you would plot them on th graph the lines would intersect because the same coordinate that made the equation true would make the line cross.

  1. Whoa. A perfect first sentence. Except, -5*-2 + 10 equals 20, not 0. This means that (-2, 20) is a solution.

    Ooh, great job on the second part too Geno! the SOLUTION is an (x, y) that make all the equations true. A system is just the set of two+ equations.
